WONDER/WANDER

Go somewhere different.

The best experiences are usually the ones you weren’t looking for.

A hidden restaurant. A haunted hotel. A roadside oddity. A strange little town. A place someone whispers about and says, “You have to go.”

Wonder/Wander is what happens when curiosity gets to choose the route.

Come with me. We have no idea where we’re going.

THIS ISN’T A TRAVEL BLOG

It’s an experiment in what happens when you stop going to the same places, doing the same things, and expect to feel different.

Sometimes that means driving across the country looking for haunted hotels and sacred places.

Sometimes it means finding the tiny restaurant twenty minutes from home that you’ve passed a hundred times.

Sometimes it means saying yes to something you would normally talk yourself out of.

The point isn’t how far you go.
The point is that you go.

THE FIRST BIG WANDER

30 days. One car. No real plan.

On November 1, I’m getting in my car and leaving Massachusetts.

No flights. No carefully curated itinerary. And no pretending I know where I’m going.

For one month, I’ll be exploring the country in search of the strange, sacred, haunted, beautiful, ridiculous, and completely unexpected.

Haunted hotels.
Sacred places.
Tiny towns.
Roadside oddities.
Fascinating strangers.
Places I don’t know exist yet.

I know where I’m starting. I know I’m coming home. The rest will be led by curiosity and wonder, revealing itself as the miles unfold.

What happens when you stop waiting until everything is perfectly laid out and just GO?

What happens when curiosity triumphs over fear?

What happens when you deliberately interrupt your own life?

For one month, I’m going to find out.

And I’m bringing you with me.

ARE YOU READY TO JOIN ME?

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN.

I don’t want you to simply watch me do this.

I want you in the car with me.

Metaphorically. There’s not that much room in the CR-V.

For the month of November, Wonder/Wander becomes an interactive road trip.

You’ll get the things I don’t necessarily post publicly—the places I find, stories from the road, strange discoveries, wrong turns, behind-the-scenes moments, and whatever happens when I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.

But you’ll also get to influence the journey.

Help choose between destinations.
Send me toward strange places.
Vote when I have two possible roads to take.
Find out where I’ll be popping up next.
Book readings with me from somewhere along the road.

And occasionally, I’ll send you somewhere too.

Because Wonder/Wander isn’t really about watching me get out of my comfort zone.

IT’S ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET OUT OF YOURS.
